1. Data controller

Better Baby ApS (CVR 41 23 56 78), Ny Adelgade 12, 1104 Copenhagen K, Denmark is the data controller. Contact: contact@saifion.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, provided via Clerk authentication.
  • Subscription data: chosen plan, selected items, subscription status, stored in Convex.
  • Payment data: processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
  • Delivery data: shipping address, delivery preferences.
  • Usage data: pages visited, interactions, collected via cookies and analytics.

3. Legal basis

  • Contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): processing your subscription, delivering items, handling payments.
  • Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): improving our service, preventing fraud.
  • Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing emails, non-essential cookies.

4. Third-party processors

  • Clerk (USA) — authentication. Standard Contractual Clauses in place.
  • Stripe (USA) — payment processing. PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
  • Convex (USA) — database hosting. Standard Contractual Clauses in place.
  • Vercel (USA) — website hosting. Data Processing Agreement in place.

5. Data retention

Account and subscription data is retained while your account is active and for 5 years after deletion to comply with Danish bookkeeping requirements (bogføringsloven). Payment records are retained by Stripe per their retention policy.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any right, email contact@saifion.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at dt@datatilsynet.dk.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are only set with your consent via our cookie banner. See our cookie settings to manage preferences.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will notify you by email of material changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
